About Prism Weave
Prism Weave is a light puzzle set in a dark cavern. Colored beams shoot in from the left. Crystal flowers wait on the right, each marked with the color it wants. Between them sits a grid of round mirrors, and your job is to turn those mirrors so each beam finds the right flower.
When every flower is lit, the beams make a glowing web across the board. That web is the reward.
How it works
Tap a mirror to turn it a quarter turn. A short pointer shows where light leaves it. Any beam that hits the mirror goes out in that direction, whatever way it came in. It takes up to three taps to reach the angle you want.
Other pieces change the beam:
- Splitters send one beam out in two directions at once, 90 degrees apart. You aim them the same way as mirrors.
- Glass plates tint any beam that passes through. They are fixed in place and sit on a mirror or on the beam’s path.
- Blending: when two beams of different colors travel along the same line, they merge. Red and blue make purple. Blue and yellow make green. Red and yellow make orange. Any other mix turns white.
A flower blooms only when its beam is exactly the color it asks for, not just any color. Light all of them and the level is solved. Tap anywhere to move on.
There are ten hand-built levels, then a new puzzle every level after that. The same level number always makes the same puzzle, and the board never opens already solved. Your best score and puzzles solved are saved in your browser.
Tips
- Start from the flowers and work backward. Ask which mirror could send light into it.
- To make green, orange, or purple, find where two beams could meet on one mirror.
- If a beam is the wrong color, route it through a glass plate.
- Tap a mirror through all four positions and watch how the beams move.
Why it feels calm
There is no timer, no move limit, and no penalty for turning a mirror the wrong way. Each tap turns the mirror with a soft rising blip. Beams glow in color with a thin white core, and dust drifts in the dark behind them. When you solve a level, five notes of a rising chime play while the flowers light up. The finished beams stay on screen until you tap, so you can enjoy the picture first.
Questions
Why did a beam turn white?
Different mixes outside the three pairs (red and blue, blue and yellow, red and yellow) become white. Check whether three colors, or an already-blended color, share a line.
Can a level be impossible?
No. Each hand-built level has a stored solution that is checked when it loads, and the endless puzzles are built backward from a working path.
Why does tapping a mirror sometimes do nothing?
Only mirrors and splitters turn. Glass plates, emitters, and flowers are fixed. Tap close to the center of the round mirror.
